Mr. Bipradeep Mondal, a Research Scholar from the Department of Environmental Sciences (DEVS), Central University of Jharkhand, has secured the "Best Poster Presentation Award" on Theme 1 (Innovations in Agrochemicals and Sustainable Crop Production) at the 13th Biennial Convention and National Seminar – New Frontiers in Agricultural Development Innovating Responsibly, Sustaining Ecosystems, Empowering Farmers.

Under the supervision of Dr. Nirmali Bordoloi (Assistant Professor, Department of Environmental Sciences, Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi, JH) and Prof. Jayanta Kumar Biswas (Head & Professor of Department of Ecological Studies, University of Kalyani, Kalyani, WB), Mr. Bipradeep presented his research entitled “Advancing Sustainable Agriculture through a Multi-Index Assessment of Biochar Derivatives under Conservation Farming against Conventional Management for Carbon Sequestration and Okra Productivity”. The prestigious event, held during 14th – 15th March 2026 and organized by Society for Fertilizers and Environment Kolkata, West Bengal, India, in collaboration with Palli Siksha Bhavana, Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan Birbhum, West Bengal, India, featuring over 130 poster presentations.
